Merrimack Canoe Co

Tennessean Tandem/Solo Canoe - 14.5'

$3,795.00

SPECS:

  • Fiberglass (Classic) or Kevlar/Carbon Fiber (Expedition), and wood construction.
  • Beam  35" -   Depth 11.5"   - Bow Height 20"
  • Length  14.5' -  Approx. Weight  45 lbs.
  • Capacity  625 lbs.

The 14.5’ Tennessean is a canoe that can do a bit of everything. While a two-seater, it handles as comfortably solo as tandem. Spacious enough for two people to take a weekend trip, it can also be heavily loaded for long solo trips where resupply comes few and far between. It offers better maneuverability and speed than the Osprey, while sacrificing only a little stability.

Weighing 45 pounds, the Tennessean is straightforward to transfer into and out of the water whether solo or as a pair. Carbon-fiber, Kevlar, and Fiberglass are all laid up together strike a canny balance of weight and durability, then reinforced with cherry ribs for added strength and rigidity. Hardwood appointments, including the gunnels, seats, and thwart are rounded out with a striking gel-coat painted finish that is sure to impress both on and off the water.

UPGRADE OPTIONS:

A Merrimack canoe is more than just a tool to spend time on the water; it's a handcrafted work of art, tailor-made to the individual holding the paddle.

In love with our Tennessean!
5 Stars

Not only is our canoe an absolute work of art, it handles effortlessly in the water. Supeb design and craftsmanship. But, it's the talk time at the dock... everyone wants to know everything about it! That's quite ok with us!
