Riverhorse Nakadate is one of the coolest folks around. He combines expert fly fisherman, blues guitar, and a whole heap of loquaciousness in a humble and fun-loving package. He and Tony Czech recently took his trusty Osprey canoe and well-worn Gunflint paddle to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area in Northern Minnesota on a journey to create a documentary discussing what it means to preserve wild spaces like the BWCA and the ecosystems that thrive there. The documentary is anticipated to be out this spring, but until then Riverhorse also wrote a little write-up about that trip and what it means to him over on The Cleanest Line, Patagonia's blog. I highly recommend you go check it out.
